Mel was born and raised in Brampton, Ontario. She has graduated with 3 year diplomas in both Landscape Design, from Fanshawe College (London Campus) & Interior Design from Georgian College (Barrie Campus).

Design and Detail oriented, Mel enjoys finding solutions to design and construction problems and is always looking to learn, and improve on traditional building techniques.

Working in the Film industry has provided a unique and fast paced challenge, where no two days are the same, in which Mel thrives upon. Assisting in various Art Departments has given her an opportunity to meet and learn from different Production Designers, Art Directors & Set Designers. She strongly believes communication and teamwork are the keys to success.
